The 10th World Congress of the Econometric Society will be held in Shanghai from 17th to 21st August 2010. It is hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in cooperation with Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Fudan University, China Europe International Business School and the Chinese Association of Quantitative Economics.

The World Congress of the Econometric Society is the most prestigious international conference in the field of economics. The previous nine Congresses were held in Rome (1965), Cambridge UK (1970), Toronto (1975), Aix-en-Provence (1980), Cambridge USA (1985), Barcelona (1990), Tokyo (1995), Seattle (2000) and London (2005).

It would be most appreciated if presenters could email your World Congress presentations to Larry Liu ( larry.wf.liu@gmail.com ) by Friday 13 August. Earlier submissions would be gratefully received. If you do not make a presentation during the conference, please overlook this announcement. To facilitate downloading the presentations onto the laptop to be used in your session, the file should be named in the following manner:
Date_SessionName_RoomName_YourName
Options, therefore, for each part of the file name are:
Date : 17/18/19/20/21
SessionName: PairedInvitedSession/ ContributedSessionAM/ ContributedSessionPM/ PolicySession/ PlenarySession
RoomName: Please find the room where your presentation will be held in the Program
For example, 17_ContributedSessionAM_PearlHall_PresenterName
If necessary, there will be facilities for last minute changes in the Speaker Preview Room on the ground floor of the conference centre (SHICC). We look forward to receiving your presentation, and welcoming you in Shanghai.
