Subway is one of fast, safe, comfortable and convenient means of public transportation for traveling around Shanghai. For instance, the main attractions, transportation hubs and commercial areas such as the Bund, Nanjing Road, Huaihai Road, People's Square, Shanghai Railway Station and Xujiahui can be reached by several subway lines. The following pictures show six subway lines in Shanghai. Getting to the station 1.The sign of subway is uniform in Shanghai. All the signboards of subways have the same sign which is showed in the pictures below. The left picture which is like a circle with an “M” in the middle is the subway sign. In Shanghai, there are two international airports, Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport. Pudong International Airport: Leaving the airport Pudong International Airport enjoys very convenient transportation to the urban area of Shanghai. A taxi costs approximately RMB 160 from Pudong International Airport to People's Square, the center of Shanghai, and it takes about 50 minutes. 2.Maglev Train
The speedy Shanghai Maglev Train (SMT) will be a wise choice for visitors to transfer to downtown Shanghai. You will enjoy the high speed as well as the beautiful passing-by views. When getting off the maglev at Longyang Rd. Station, you can take subway line 2 to the city center.

Tickets of Expo 2010 include nine types which are broadly classified into individual and group tickets. Individual tickets are divided into Peak Day Admission and Standard Day Admission, the former include Peak Day Single Day Admission and Peak Day Special Admission, and the latter include Standard Day Single Day Admission, Standard Day Special Admission, 3 Day Admission, 7 Day Admission and Evening Admission. Group tickets are divided into Group Admission and Student Group Admission. Admission tickets are required for all visitors except children at or under 1.2m. Attention: 10.1-10.7 is peak days that you can only visit Expo with peak day admission.
