TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR OPTIONAL TOURS
OF ECONOMETRIC SOCIETY WORLD CONGRESS 2010 SHANGHAI
Our Published prices include: English/Chinese speaking bilingual tourist guide service. Transportation: domestic air tickets and tax (if applicable per itineraries) and air-conditioned coach for ground travel, Entrance fees, boat fare en route, Meals per specified in itineraries. Hotel accommodations (if applicable per itineraries) on twin basis, single rooms or twin rooms for sole use available at extra cost (please declare if you need single accommodations when booking the tour).
Our published Prices DO NOT include: Excess baggage check when travel by air, Expenses of personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call, optional activities, Meals which are not specified in the itinerary, Tips to guides or drivers(USD5 per person per day).
Reservation:We highly recommend that you make reservation for tours in advance. For tour A-C, on-site registration will be available at the congress registration area no later than one day before tour departs. For tour D and E, the deadline for registration and payment is 30May2010.
Group Size:Our published tour prices are based on the group size of 6-9 participants & more than 10 participants and are subject to change if participants are fewer than 6 in each group. We will guarantee our departures as long as we have enough participants on any tour. In case a tourist chooses to cancel his/her tour reservation because of our price change, no cancellation charge will occur.
Pricing Policy for Children:Children under 2 years old traveling with their parents pay 10% of tour cost, Children aged between 2-11 pay 70% of full fare, entitled to an extra bed in parents room, Children at 12 years old and over pay full fare.
Changes to Itinerary: Shanghai CTI has made attempts to make the tour itineraries accurate. Circumstances beyond our control may occur. We reserve the right to change itineraries, common carriers and substitute hotels when necessary. We guarantee establishments of a similar category and standard will be used if such changes are necessary, and our tourists will be informed of any changes as early as possible.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of receipt by Shanghai CTI. We will assess a cancellation charge to cover loss of nonrefundable advance payment made to land operators. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Health & Behavior Requirements: Tour participants must be in good physical and mental health, and agree to abide by the authority of our national and/or local tour guides. Any physical condition requiring special attention, diet, or treatment must be declared in writing when the reservation is made. Shanghai CTI and its designated tour operators reserve the right to decline to accept any person as a tour member or to require any traveler to withdraw from a tour anytime when such action is determined to be in the best interest of the health, safety, and general welfare of tour groups or individual tour members.
Responsibilities: Shanghai CTI acts only as an agent for hotels, bus, airlines, cruise ships railroads or owners providing accommodation, transportation, and other services. We shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with accommodation, transportation and other services resulting directly or indirectly from breakdown in equipment. |
